<br />--- <br />r- 20000042 <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Chairman Hartman called for public participation and no on <br />responded. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Logan he attended the human relations committee <br />meeting on January 24. He asked if the reuse issue was cleared up and was told it was <br />and asked if the seating arrangement was to be changed and Hartman stated it can stay as <br />it is. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He attended the human relations committee meeting and will attend a public <br />works committee meeting today. <br /> <br />Stelk - She reported that they are seeking more applications for a health director. She <br />attended the joint work study session at city hall and the ADA meeting. The ADA <br />committee discussed the handicapped parking and this will be on the agenda for February <br />8. <br /> <br />Arnold - He reported that the CAS A office has moved into the Grand Island College <br />Building. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the ADA committee meeting and the safety committee meeting <br />and they will address the handicapped parking. She asked the board if they would like <br />the audit committee to pursue the payroll processing two times a month. She also asked <br />if the board would like to send a letter supporting Senator David Landis' bill to offer time <br />payments on taxes as addressed in LB 928 and the board agreed to send a letter of <br />support. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the joint city county work study session. She stated that she <br />informed CVB that the county has established a procedure for notificaion of <br />appointments to various boards. She attend the Stuhr Museum board meeting and they <br />are needing storage for the train cars. She thanked Black Motor Company for the <br />donation of a 1990 Dodge Caravan to the museum. She asked the county board if they <br />would like an update from the Economic Development Corporation on a regular basis. <br />The county board decided, as the representative, she could inform them of any concerns <br />they might have. <br /> <br /> <br />The next meeting will be February 8, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />1(bt&z9c~A <br /> <br />Marla J.
