<br />14 APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR SALE OF TRACTS OF LAND AT CAAP: The
<br />resoluti~~ and the attac~ed map showed the next tracts of land at the Cornhusker Army
<br />Ammunition Plant that will be sold. Lancaster made a motion and Humiston seconded to
<br />approve Resolution #01-0065 requesting the sale of Tract #22,231 23824, 25,31A, 318
<br />46, 48A, 488, 48C, 480, 49, 51 A and 508. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston,
<br />Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with Jeffries absent. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SALE OF TRACT # 22, 23A, 23B, 24, 25, 31A,
<br />31B, 46, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D, 49, 50A, AND SOB
<br />AT THE CORNHUSKER ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Public Law 103-337, sec. 2836 authorizes the Secretary of the Army to
<br />convey to the Hall County Nebraska Board of Supervisors or its designee all right, title and
<br />interest of the United States in and to the real property that is the site of the Cornhusker Army
<br />Ammunition Plant, hereinafter referred to as "CHAAP," for fair market value, said property to be
<br />used in a manner consistent with the CHAAP Reuse Committee's Comprehensive Reuse Plan,
<br />hereinafter referred to as the "Reuse Plan"; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on August 15,2000, the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse
<br />Committee adopted a motion recommending that the following described property be sold by the
<br />Army Corps of Engineers to the highest bidder(s) by public sate, to wit:
<br />
<br />Tract numbers 22, 23A, 23B, 24, 25, 31A, 3IB, 46, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D, 49, 50A, and 50B
<br />as depicted in exhibit "A,"-attached hereto;
<br />
<br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, the Hall County Board of Supervisors hereby requests that the
<br />above described property be sold to the highest bidder or bidders by competitive public sales
<br />conducted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, said property to be used in a manner
<br />or manners consistent with this resolution and the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse
<br />Plan.
<br />
<br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that said parcels be surveyed by the County with the cost
<br />of said survey charged by the Corps of Engineers to the purchasers of said parcels.
<br />
<br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that said parcels be sold subject to easements,
<br />restrictions, and grants of right-of-way of record and such easements, restrictions, and grants of
<br />right-of-way as approved by the CHAAP Reuse Committee, the Hall County Board of
<br />Supervisors, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
