<br />r0121/0 <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MAY 22,2001 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session and by published call <br />in the county board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, May 22, <br />2001 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Richard Hartman. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Jim Eriksen, Richard Hartman, Bob <br />Humiston, Pamela Lancaster and Lonnie Logan. Bud Jeffries was absent. Also present <br />were County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives from the Grand <br />Island Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA: Lancaster made a motion and Logan seconded to approve the <br />following items by consent agenda: <br /> <br />1. 1 Accept and place on file the minutes of the May 8 meeting <br />2. 5 Accept the public works committee recommendation to set the public hearing to <br />reclassify 110th Road from minimum to local standards for 6/12/2001 at 10:15 a.m. <br />3. 12 Receive the tort claim from Skate Island <br />4. 17 Set the public hearing on the railroad crossings for 6/26/2001 at 10:00 a.m. <br />5. 23 accept and place on file the office reports from the Register of Deeds, Clerk of the <br />District Court and the Public Defender <br />6. 24 Accept and place on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br />7. 25 Accept and place on file communications as received <br /> <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted <br />no, with Jeffries absent. <br /> <br />Hartman stated that the public works committee met to discuss the letter from the Union <br />Pacific Railroad requesting the county to address closing roads and moving the railroad <br />crossings, but the committee felt that they wanted to study the matter.
