<br />F"01144 <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MARCH 27, 2001 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session and by published call <br />in the county board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, March 27, <br />2001 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Richard Hartman. <br /> <br />INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Rev. Dennis Reich with Calvary Lutheran <br />Church. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Jim Eriksen, Richard Hartman, Bob <br />Humiston, Bud Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster and Lonnie Logan. Also present were County <br />Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives from the Grand Island <br />Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA: Lancaster made a motion and Jeffries seconded to approve the <br />Following items by consent agenda: <br />1. 1 Accept and place on file the minutes of the March 13 meeting <br />2. 16 Approve the Resolution #01-0021 for surplus property <br />3. 17 Approve Resolution #01-0022 for exchange of collateral US Bank Grand Island <br />4. 18 Approve Resolution #01-0023 for Child Abuse Prevention Month <br />5. 23 Accept and place on file the office reports from the Clerk of the District Court and <br />Register of Deeds <br />6. 24 Accept and place on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br />7. 25 Accept and place on file communications as received <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01- <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS CO. PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County purchase Act provides that County Board may authorize a county <br />employee or official to sell surplus county property, which is obsolete or not useable by the county having a <br />value of less than five hundred dollar; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property set forth in attachment "A" is personal property of the county that is <br />obsolete or not usable by the county; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each item set forth in attachment "A' has a value ofless that five hundred dollars; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of supervisors desires to authorize the sale of the property as <br />set forth in attachment "A" <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Charles Kaufman, Hall County Parks, Building and Ground Director, hereinafter referred to as the <br />"Director" be hereby authorized and directed to sell the property set forth in attachment "A." Said sale <br />or sales my be conducted in such manner as determined by the Director including, but not limited to, <br />sale at public auction through the services of an auctioneer and auction firm.
