<br />(01085 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # -DJ - 00 l ~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPLICATION FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION <br />ASSISTANCE FUNDS; APPROVING SENIOR CITIZENS INDUSTRIES, INC. <br />AS <br />A SUBCONTRACTOR; AND APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR <br />DISCOUNTED CAB TICKET PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funds are available under Section 5311 of the Federal Transit Act, as amended. and <br />the Nebraska Public Transportation Act, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Senior Citizens Industries, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, desires to apply <br />for said funds to be used to provide public transportation in Hall County with special emphasis on meeting <br />the needs of the elderly and the disabled persons. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Hall County Board of Supervisors has reviewed <br />the application of the County of Hall prepared by Senior Citizens, Inc. for said funds and does hereby <br />certify that Senior Citizens, Inc. is considered to be capable of providing public transportation for persons <br />of Hall County pursuant to a subcontract agreement with the County of Hall and an agreement for <br />discounted cab ticket program which are hereby approved by the Hall County Board of Supervisors.
