<br />F01001 <br /> <br />. . :"""~ .:1: <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JANUARY 9, 2001"'" <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session and by published call <br />in the county board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, January 9, <br />2001, at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Richard Hartman. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Richard Karohl with Faith United Methodist Church. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Jim Eriksen, Richard Hartman, Bob <br />Humiston, Bud Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster and Lonnie Logan. Also present were County <br />Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives from the Grand Island <br />Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA: Lancaster made a motion and Jeffries seconded to approve the <br />following items by consent agenda: <br />1. Accept and place on file the minutes of the December 19 meeting. <br />2. 5a Approve Stop Sign Resolution #2001-0001 for Husker Highway and Lengenheder <br />Street <br />3. 5b Authorize the Chair to sign agreement for Project STPE-STPAA-2235(3) <br />4. 8 Approve Resolution #2001-0002 for Surplus Property <br />5. 13 Designate the County legal newspapers for 2001 <br />6. 14 Designate the banks for the County Treasurer's deposits for 2001 <br />7. 15 Accept and place on file correspondence from regional planning <br />8. 23 Accept and place on file the office reports from the County Sheriff, Emergency <br />Management, County Court, County Clerk and Public Defender <br />9. 24 Accept and place on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br />10. 25 Accept and place on file communications as received <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STOP SIGN RESOLUTION #~()I-OOl <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been presented to the Hall County Board of Supervisors of Hall <br /> <br />County, Nebraska, by Marsha Medbery, Public Works Director, that a dangerous traffic situation <br /> <br />exists at the intersection of Husker Highway and Langenheder Street, and that is necessary to <br /> <br />erect a Stop Sign at said intersection. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Hall County Board of Supervisors of Hall County, Nebraska deem it <br /> <br />necessary in the interest of traffic safety to erect said Stop Sign. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered by the Hall County Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors in regular session that Marsha Medbery, Public Works Director, hereby is authorized <br />
