<br />OFFICE REPORT <br />HOWARD COUNTY JUVENILE SERVICES <br />OCTOBER 2002 <br /> <br />V20020640 <br /> <br />JUVENILE REFERRALS <br />TOTAL JUVENILE ENROLLEES <br />FEES COLLECTED <br />TOTAL FEES COLLECTED FISCAL YEAR <br /> <br />5 JUVENILES <br />34 JUVENILES <br /> <br />$ 700.00 <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Louise Miller 1104 West Charles, requested to speak to the <br />board concerning the destruction of the trees on old Highway #281. She said the board <br />should stop this. <br /> <br />5a. APPROVE STOP SIGN RESOLUTION FOR ENGLEMAN & 13TH STREETS - <br />Eriksen stated that the traffic counts were done on 13th Street and Engleman and from <br />the west on 13th Street the count was 662 and from the east on 13th Street it was 1,935 <br />with 2597 for a total. The total north and south traffic count on Engleman was 15535 in <br />a 24-hour period. Eriksen stated that he talked to Sheriff Watson on this and the best <br />thing to do, would be to make this a four-way stop. There are four-way stops a mile <br />north and a mile south, so with that information he would recommend to make a four- <br />way stop. Eriksen made a motion and Jeffries seconded to approve Resolution #02- <br />0067 for the stop sign at 13th Street and Engleman Street. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />2 <br />
