<br />(20020390 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02- 00 4=t <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE HALL COUNTY ZONING <br />RESOLUTION SECTION 6 SUPPLEMENTARY DISTRICT REGULATION <br />PARAGRAPH 6 STRUCTURES TO HAVE ACCESS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Board of Supervisors of Hall County to provide for the <br />orderly growth and development of the County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Hall County annually adopts a 1 and 6 year road <br />plan based on priority of needs and calculated to contribute to the orderly development of an <br />integrated statewide system of highways, roads, and streets; and <br /> <br />. <br />WHEREAS, adoption of the 1 and 6 year road plan is a public process designed to inform <br />the public and to provide a means of obtaining public input through public hearings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, any interested person or entity can request that road improvements be <br />included within the 1 and 6 year road plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a minimum classification the County must classify as local roads any roads <br />that provide the sole public access to a property upon which a dwelling is constructed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, counties are not required to improve any minimum maintenance road that <br />provides sole public access to property upon which a dwelling is constructed unless and until said <br />road improvement project is included within the county's 1 and 6 year road plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Regional Planning Commission held a public hearing and <br />made a recommendation on June 5, 2002 that the Hall County Board of Supervisors amend the <br />Hall County Zoning Resolution as set forth herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing regarding the <br />proposed change on July 16, 2002. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOL VED that the Hall County Board of Supervisors consents to and <br />approves the following changes to the Hall County Zoning Resolution effective August 1,2002: <br /> <br />Strike from the current Section 6 Supplementary District Regulation Paragraph 6 "Structures to <br /> <br />Have Access" the following: <br />Structures to Have Access - Every building hereafter erected or moved shall be on a lot adjacent to a <br />public street, or with access to an approved private street, and all structures shall be located on lots as <br />to provide safe and convenient access for servicing, fire protection and required off-street parking; <br />
