(20020390 RESOLUTION #02- 00 4=t A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE HALL COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION SECTION 6 SUPPLEMENTARY DISTRICT REGULATION PARAGRAPH 6 STRUCTURES TO HAVE ACCESS WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Board of Supervisors of Hall County to provide for the orderly growth and development of the County; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Hall County annually adopts a 1 and 6 year road plan based on priority of needs and calculated to contribute to the orderly development of an integrated statewide system of highways, roads, and streets; and . WHEREAS, adoption of the 1 and 6 year road plan is a public process designed to inform the public and to provide a means of obtaining public input through public hearings; and WHEREAS, any interested person or entity can request that road improvements be included within the 1 and 6 year road plan; and WHEREAS, as a minimum classification the County must classify as local roads any roads that provide the sole public access to a property upon which a dwelling is constructed; and WHEREAS, counties are not required to improve any minimum maintenance road that provides sole public access to property upon which a dwelling is constructed unless and until said road improvement project is included within the county's 1 and 6 year road plan; and WHEREAS, the Hall County Regional Planning Commission held a public hearing and made a recommendation on June 5, 2002 that the Hall County Board of Supervisors amend the Hall County Zoning Resolution as set forth herein; and WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing regarding the proposed change on July 16, 2002. NOW BE IT RESOL VED that the Hall County Board of Supervisors consents to and approves the following changes to the Hall County Zoning Resolution effective August 1,2002: Strike from the current Section 6 Supplementary District Regulation Paragraph 6 "Structures to Have Access" the following: Structures to Have Access - Every building hereafter erected or moved shall be on a lot adjacent to a public street, or with access to an approved private street, and all structures shall be located on lots as to provide safe and convenient access for servicing, fire protection and required off-street parking;
