<br />F dOo~D3loLD <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JULY 16, 2002 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Jim Eriksen, Richard Hartman, Bob <br />Humiston, Bud Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster, and Lonnie Logan. Also present were <br />County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and representatives from the Grand Island <br />Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />. <br />~' <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA - Arnold made a motion and Jeffries seconded to approve the <br />following by consent agenda: <br />1. Accept and place on file the minutes of the June 25, meeting <br />2. 4a Approve the quarterly diesel fuel claim <br />3. 4b Authorize the chair to sign the interlocal agreement regarding South Locust <br />Street Lighting project <br />4. 9 Place on file the Annual Report of Delinquent tax and Special Assessments <br />5. 9a Approve Resolution # 02-0041 for the 2-Year Tax Sale Certificates <br />6. 9b Approve Resolution #02-0042 for the 5 year Tax Sale Certificates <br />7. 10 Approve Amendment #13 for the Health Plan <br />8. 13 Approve Resolution #02-0043 for the Rate of the Service Surcharge for 911 <br />costs <br />9. 15 Approve the final plat for Floyd Acres Second Subdivision <br />10. 15 b Approve the final plat for Kenyon Second Subdivision <br />11. Accept and place on file the office reports from the Clerk of the District Court, <br />Hall County Sheriff Hall and Howard County Juvenile Services and County Court <br />12. Accept and place on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br />13. Accept and place on file communications as received. <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-0043 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF THE SERVICE <br />SURCHARGE FOR 911 SERVICE COSTS FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2003 <br />AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each governing body is required to establish the service surcharge <br />rate to be assessed on each local exchange access line which physically tenninates within <br />the governing body's designated 911 service area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of RaIl has previously established designated 911 and <br />enhanced 911 service areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the RaIl County Board of Supervisors desires to establish a unifonn <br />service surcharge on each local exchange access line which physically tenninates within <br />the County of RaIl's designated 911 and enhanced 911 service areas commencing <br />
