<br />-' <br />1'03620 <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING OCTOBER 7, 2003 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met October 7, 2003, by published call in the <br />county board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order Chairman Pamela Lancaster <br /> <br />INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison <br /> <br />ROLL CALL - Present on roll call was Scott Arnold, Jim Eriksen, Dick Hartman, Bob <br />Humiston, Bud Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster and Robert Rye. Also present were County <br />Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives from The Grand Island <br />Independent. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA -Arnold motion to accept the following by consent agenda <br />1. minutes of September 23rd meeting <br />5b. Approve resolution to prohibit engine breaks on Giltner Rd. ~ mile E of South Locust <br />to South Locust. <br />5c. Sign Agreements with State of Nebraska project NO BRO-7040 (25) and BRO-7040 <br />(26) <br />5d. Approve Diesel Fuel Tax Claim <br />5e. Set bid opening for November 4th at 2:00 p.m. instead of 10:00 a.m. afternoon <br />meeting on the 4th. <br />7. Discuss and respond to letter regarding proposed industrial development at SPD <br />Energy Park <br />8. Discuss and respond to letter regarding proposed Army Aviation Support Facility at <br />Central Nebraska Regional Airport <br />11. Receive and Place on File Tort Claim from Robert and Judy Poland <br />13. Exchange of collateral - United Nebraska Bank <br />15. Approve final plats for Wieck Subdivision and Little Subdivision <br />16. Commence audit of biweekly pay claims <br />17. Accept and place on file tax rates <br />20. Discuss and approve sale of county surplus property <br />21 Accept and place on file county treasurer report for distress warrant fees and notice <br />of warrants being turned over to Sheriff for collection. <br />23. Office reports from County Clerk, Clerk of County Court, and Sheriff <br />24. Hall County Treasurer Misc. Receipts <br />25 Communications. <br /> <br />Humiston seconded the motion to accept the consent agenda items. Scott Arnold, Jim <br />Eriksen, Dick Hartman, Bob Humiston, Bud Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster and Robert Rye <br />all voted. 7 yes 0 no Motion carried. <br />
