",6' <br />r .j U ~J" t;:. <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING August 12, 2003 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Equalization met August 12, 2003 in the county board meeting <br />room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska. <br /> <br />Members present were Scott Arnold, James Ericksen, Richard Hartman, Bob Humiston, <br />Bud Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster, and Robert Rye. Also present were Hall County <br />Assessor Janet Pelland and County Treasurer Doris Mason. <br /> <br />9:55 a.m. Ericksen made a motion and Jeffries seconded to go into a Board of <br />Equalization meeting. Arnold, Ericksen, Hartman, Humiston Jeffries, Lancaster, and <br />Rye all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />14 b Jan Pelland County Assessor meet with the board regarding the real estate tax <br />exemption for State Street Fellowship. Jeffries made the motion and Hartman <br />seconded to approve the tax-exempt application. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />14c Jan Pelland tax correction notices: County Assessor Jan Pelland presented tax <br />" correction notices #2957 to #2967requesting the chair to initial them. Rye made a <br />motion and Hartman seconded to authorize the chair to initial tax correction notices <br />#2957 to #2967. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Pelland also introduced her new Deputy <br />Assessor Margie Hurd to the board. <br /> <br />14a Doris Mason County Treasurer meet with the board regarding the tax exemption <br />request for Calvary Baptist Church. for a 1994 Dodge van. Jeffries made the motion and <br />Hartman seconded the motion to approve the tax-exempt application. Arnold, Eriksen, <br />Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Hartman seconded to go out of the Board of Equalization <br />meeting. Arnold, Ericksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, and Rye all voted <br />yes and none voted no.
