<br />r03'1~;Ll <br /> <br />5c APPROVE DIESEL FUEL TAX CLAIM - The diesel fuel claim for $450.00 was <br />submitted for payment. Jeffries made 'a motion and Arnold seconded to approve <br />payment of the diesel fuel claim and authorize the County clerk to pay. Arnold, Eriksen, <br />Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />10 EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS - Rye made a <br />motion and Humiston seconded to go into executive session for the performance <br />evaluation. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:45 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />9:50 a.m. Rye made a motion and Arnold seconded to go out of executive session. <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Eriksen made a motion and Jeffries seconded to authorize the personal committee to <br />present the evaluation to the employee. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS - Hartman - no report <br /> <br />Humiston - no report <br /> <br />Eriksen - He attended the long-range planning committee meeting. He also stated that <br />they met with HHS concerning their long-range plans. Their goal is to get all of their <br />employees under one roof and to do that, they would need about 25,000 square feet. <br />He also attended a meeting held by Regional Planning Director Chad Nabity concerning <br />the comprehensive development plan for the rural areas. There were about 25 people in <br />attendance. The proposed plan has been generally accepted and there will be more <br />work on this. <br /> <br />He also reported that the health board held their regular meeting and they have started <br />remodeling on the Drisbachs Building. He also stated that Shirley Terry submitted her <br />resignation as the interim director. She will be taking job with Lancaster County. Ms. <br />Terry recommended Rochelle Kieborz to fill the interim director position. <br /> <br />Rye - He reported that he attended the multi-cultural committee meeting and Cindy <br />Priesendorf was elected as the Chair. She will take the place of Cindy Johnson. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He reported that he attended the parks committee meeting and the corrections <br />committee meeting. <br /> <br />Arnold - he stated that he could not attend the long-range planning committee meeting <br />because of a crime commission meeting. He reported that the crime commission denied <br />the grant request from the Family Violence Coalition for the victim witness program. The <br />state has been uncomfortable with an outside agency handling these services and given <br />the issues over the last few months and this last year they decided to hold the funds in <br />reserve until another agency can take over the program. <br /> <br />6 <br />
