<br />r 03/1[10 <br /> <br />volunteer form. Arnold, Eriksen, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and <br />none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Held the Board of Corrections meeting at 10:10 a.m. <br /> <br />Held the Board of Equalization meeting at 10:21 a.m. <br /> <br />Took a short break for the park committee could meet to review the bids and come back <br />with a recommendation. <br /> <br />Jeffries stated that the park committee met with Chuck Kaufman and County Engineer <br />Jeff Palik and reviewed the bids and recommended awarding the bid to JIL Asphalt. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Arnold seconded to accept the bid from JIL Asphalt in the <br />amount of $124,127.00. Arnold, Eriksen, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all <br />voted yes and none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />16 a. COMMENCE AUDIT OF BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS- <br />b. DISCUSS AND APPROVE EARLY CLAIM FOR WATER CONNECTION FEES AT <br />HALL COUNTY PARK - Jeffries stated that city ordinance requires that a connection fee <br />is paid in order to hook up to city water. Hall County Park needs to hook up to city water <br />and in order to do so must pay the connection fee. The fee for the park is $13,284.55 <br />and a claim has been prepared to pay this. Arnold made a motion and Jeffries <br />seconded to approve the bi-weekly pay claims and approve the claim for $13,284.55 for <br />the water hook-up for the Hall County Park. Arnold, Eriksen, Humiston, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted no with Hartman absent. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT - Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka requested that the <br />board members return the performance evaluations back to her by July 10th. She also <br />reminded them of the adjusted times for the board of equalization meetings and asked if <br />the board members would like a list of the scheduled meetings for July and August. <br />Some of the members stated that they would like the list. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS - Humiston - no report <br /> <br />Eriksen - He attended the joint District Health Department meeting and a public works <br />committee meeting. <br /> <br />Rye - He attend the joint District Health Department meeting and the Midland Area <br />Agency on Aging meeting where they interviewed candidates for the director position. <br />Jeffries - He attended the corrections meting and discussion was held to try to acquire <br />more work release and trustees for outside work at the county. He also attended the <br />personal committee meeting concerning the performance evaluation. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended the public works committee meeting and they reviewed the 2003- <br />2004 budget. He also attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting and the <br />interviews they will have more information at the next meeting concerning this. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the computer meeting and the Workforce Development <br />meeting. The website will be a prominent place for the public to look for city or county <br /> <br />6 <br />
