<br />Foa018 <br /> <br />She reported that she worked with Kutek Rock on the RFP for the jail. She has been in <br />contact with the Army Corp of Engineer concerning the land at CAAP and discussed <br />securing fund to transfer the land. They only have enough funding to complete the <br />projects that have been started. The Corp of Engineers in Omaha would like to see the <br />projects completed. It has been a lot of hard work over the last ten years. In the future <br />the Army will not be involved in land transfer because of the funding. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished <br />business and County Clerk Marla Conley presented Chairman Lancaster with a plaque <br />for serving as Chairman of the County Board for 2002. <br /> <br />County Clerk Marla Conley provided the board members with a memo regarding the sale <br />of county flags. The clerk has sold the flags for serveral years and the current supply <br />has been exhausted. She will purchase more flags for future sales. <br /> <br />Lancaster welcomed Dan Hostler as the newly elected County Surveyor. Mr. Hostler <br />stated that he has advertised an engineer and has one application. <br /> <br />Meeting was recessed until 1 :00 p.m. for the presentation from Bill Stoval with the Hall <br />County Airport. <br /> <br />1 :00 p.m. returned to regular session <br /> <br />16 BILL STOVAL HALL COUNTY AIRPORT EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR REAL <br />ESTATE NEGOTIATIONS - Arnold made a motion and Eriksen seconded to go into <br />executive session regarding real estate negotiations. . Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted no with Jeffries absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />1 :05 p.m. executive session <br /> <br />2:00 p.m. Arnold made a motion and Humiston seconded to go out of executive session. <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted <br />no with Jeffries absent.
