Hall County Department of Corrections
110 Public Safety Drive
Grand Island,NE 68801
308-385-5206
Todd Bahensky Jeremy Jones
Director Assistant Director
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Hall County Department of Corrections Receives Funding to Expand
Body-Worn Camera Program
The Hall County Department of Corrections is pleased to announce that the Edgar&
Frances Reynolds Foundation has awarded the department$17,405.68 to expand its
body-worn camera program. The Foundation fully funded the request, allowing the
department to immediately move forward with the project.
With this support, the department will add:
• 18 Axon Body 4 cameras
• 2 Axon Flex POV modules
• Additional digital evidence storage capacity
This expansion increases camera availability for correctional officers, supervisors,
transportation staff, and booking personnel. It strengthens safety, transparency, and
documentation across daily operations and critical incidents.
The department previously invested in eighteen body-worn cameras and has seen
significant benefits. The newly funded expansion closes important coverage gaps and
enhances accountability throughout the facility.
The Hall County Department of Corrections thanks the Reynolds Foundation for its
partnership and generosity.
Todd Bahensky
Director
Hall County Department of Corrections
