HALL COUNTY BOARD OF CORRECTION MEETING JUNE 2, 2026 <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into a Board of Corrections <br /> meeting with a roll call vote. <br /> Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Ron Peterson, <br /> Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also, present were Corrections <br /> Director Todd Bahensky and County Attorney Marty Klein and Kim Dugan Board <br /> Assistant. <br /> NOTICE OF MEETING LAW-Chair Peterson read the notice of open meeting law <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION-The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETING- Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to <br /> approve the minutes of May 5, 2026, meeting, Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes, no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION-Chair Peterson called for public participation, and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 3. CORRECTIONS DIRECTORS REPORT-Todd Bahensky stated that their numbers <br /> are at 236 US Marshall are at 83, 5 Immigration holds, 13 probation sanctions 3 on <br /> bond 15 immigration hold and 135 local inmates. 2 out of county and one safety hold. <br /> Todd stated that he has a number of contract renewals for approval. These all come <br /> due at the same time. <br /> 4.APPROVE &AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN AMENDMENT#6 TO FOOD SERVICE <br /> PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH SUMMIT FOOD SERVICE WITH 5% INCREASE <br /> IN FOOD COSTS —Todd said they negotiated the increase for food costs and said the <br /> number have been down. He said he feels this increase will be sufficient. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve and authorize the chair to <br /> sign the Summit Food Service agreement with the 5% increase. Bredthauer, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes, no one voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 5.APPROVE &AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN AMENDMENT#6 TO COMMISSARY <br /> PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH SUMMIT FOOD SERVICE —This is an <br /> amendment to the original partnership agreement dated June 25, 2018. This extends <br /> the agreement for 2 years and will automatically renew for additional one-year periods <br /> unless terminated per the agreement. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve and authorize the chair to <br /> sign the Summit Food Service Commissary Partnership agreement. Bredthauer, Hurst, <br />
