Richrdson made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the keno requests but to <br /> exclude Wood River ambulance request and the Voice for Companion Animals request. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 23. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPOINT WEED BOARD MEMBER - <br /> Sorensen said that one person was not registered to vote, but he is registered now. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Lancaster seconded to appoint Mitch Banfield to the Hall <br /> County Weed Board. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Bredthauer reported that he 250tn celebration at Stuhr <br /> Museum was well attended and a great event. <br /> Richardson reported she attended a Humane Society meeting and there will be a golf <br /> fund raiser for the Humane Society on September 9tn <br /> 17.CLOSED SESSION REGARDING TERC CASE — Sorensen made a motion and <br /> Richardson seconded to go into closed session regarding a TERC case. Peterson <br /> stated there are 2 reasons for a closed session to protect the public interest or to <br /> prevent needles harm or injury to an individual. Sarah Carstensen was present for the <br /> closed session. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Held closed session from 10:50 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Richardson seconded to go out of closed session. <br /> Peterson stated there were no other subjects discussed, no votes were taken and no <br /> action was taken. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 18.DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING TERC CASE — Sorensen made <br /> a motion and Richardson seconded to have Sarah Carstensen file a complaint with the <br /> appropriate agencies and authorize the chair to sign if needed. Bredthauer, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes, and no one voted <br /> no.
