Jane and Karen also attended. <br /> Peterson said they had a Senior Citizen's meeting and they were looking at a possible <br /> $65,000.00 deficit at the end of May people are just not contributing for the meals and <br /> the cost of food has gone up. Casey Muzic with Midland Area Agency on Aging <br /> presented a $44,000.000 check to Senior Citizens and pledged to increase the meals <br /> reimbursement from $1.50 to $6.00 that should help them break even. <br /> Lancaster noted that additional funds were released from the state and these were <br /> transit dollars, the state has limited resources.
