HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING AUGUST 11, 2026 <br /> 9:05 A.M. Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL-Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Ron Peterson, Gary Quandt, Jane Richrdson and Scott Sorensen were present. <br /> County Attorney Marty Klein and Board Assistant Kim Dugan were also present. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW- Chair Peterson read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME-Chair Peterson called for anyone from the audience if <br /> they had a request to reserve time and no one responded. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION-The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> MINUTES- Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the minutes of <br /> the July 28, 2026, meeting. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, and <br /> Richardson and Scott Sorensne all voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION- Chair Peterson called for public participation, and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 3.COUNTY ASSESSOR—TAX CORRECTION NOTICES # 943 to #978 — Deputy <br /> County Assessor Mandy Pfeil presented tax correction # 943 to #978 asking for a <br /> motion from the board to authorize the chair to sign. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Richardson seconded to authorize the chair to sign tax <br /> correction notices #943 to #978. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, and <br /> Richardson and Scott Sorensen all voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Quandt stated they are working on finding another car. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chair Peterson called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br /> Meeting Adjourned at 9:10 a.m. returned to the regular meeting. <br /> aria onle all County k 0 04 <br /> '11 <br />
