COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER MEETING JUNE16, 2026 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened June 16, 2026, by published call in <br /> the County Board meeting room, 200 South Sycamore, Grand Island, Nebraska. <br /> CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Chair Ron Peterson <br /> INVOCATION - Karen Bredthauer gave the invocation. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL — Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, and Scott Sorensen. Jane Richardson was not present. <br /> Kim Dugan, Board Assistant was also present. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chair Peterson read the notice for a public <br /> meeting subject to the open meetings laws of the State of Nebraska. The requirements <br /> for an open meeting are posted on the door to his left and notices are on the front table <br /> for your information. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —Chair Peterson stated the affidavit of publication was <br /> received. <br /> Chair Peterson stated that the Hall County Board of Commissioners has the discretion <br /> to change the order of the agenda items. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Peterson called for anyone regarding a request <br /> to reserve time on a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA- Sorensen made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes from June 2, 2026, meeting <br /> 2. 6 B Approved the JDAI contract for 2026-2027 <br /> 3. 15 Pulled item 15 regarding insurance on cars <br /> 4. 20 Approved the biweekly pay claims <br /> 5. 21 Approved the regular claims <br /> 6. 21B Lowered claim #26060242 from College Park by $546.14 and referred to <br /> the County Attorney for clarification <br /> 7. 22 Placed on file the County Office reports County Building Inspector, Hall & <br /> Howard Juvenile Diversion, County Sheriff for April, Hall County Weed Control <br /> meeting minutes, County Clerk, Assessor/Register of Deeds <br /> 8. 23 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 9. 24 Communications none on file <br /> 1 <br />
