So now the
offer is being made. Lancaster commented that it was nice to and when they have an
opening should look at the firm to help them with candidates as well, it was a lot less
stressful she stated.
Richardson stated she attended it was called the for the love of children banquet and
our CASA employee Amanda Burton won a very nice award so that was just wonderful
for all the things she does for these kids and there were over a hundred people there.
Sorensen asked Shanda if there were any applicants for weed board
Shanda stated she had not seen any. I did talk to Rob the other day, too, and he said he
just hasn't had any.
Sorensen stated That's kind of what I was curious about. I know we had set the initial
interviews to start two weeks ago. However, we have not had a single applicant yet.
The public hearing for that will be in two weeks.
There are pros and cons of this, I guess just seeing the lack of applicants right now kind
of supports the idea of dissolution of it. So that's just my two cents on it. Sorensen
stated.
Meeting adjourned at 11:22 a.m.
: AtF py'
i vi " >
Shanda Conley, Deputy County Clerk i
