HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING MARCH 24, 2026 <br /> 9:05 A.M. Sorensen made a motion and Quandt seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL-Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Ron <br /> Peterson, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen.Also present were County <br /> Attorney Marty Klein, and Board Assistant Kim Dugan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW-Chair Peterson read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME-Chair Peterson called if anyone from the audience had a <br /> request to reserve time and no one responded. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION-The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> MINUTES-Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> March 10, 2026, meeting. Bredthauer, Hurst, Quandt, Lancaster, Peterson, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION-Chair Peterson called for public participation, and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 3. 9:10 a.m. HEARING FOR 451 &451 NF EXEMPTION APPLICATIONS FOR REAL& <br /> PERSONAL PROPERTY-Quandt made a motion to go into the hearing Richardson seconded <br /> the motion. Bredthauer, Hurst, Quandt, Lancaster, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all <br /> voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Kristi Wold read off the list of exemptions <br /> Grand Island Regional Medical center was approved <br /> Goodwill Industries of greater Nebraska was approved <br /> Central Nebraska Lutheran School was approved <br /> Friendship house was approved <br /> Abundant life Christian Center was approved <br /> Grand Island Rifle Club was approved <br /> HELP foundation of Omaha was denied it is land only and no permit <br /> Emerald Lakeview Realty LLC approved for 76% <br />
