HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER MEETING MARCH 10, 2026 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened March 10, 2026, by published call <br /> in the County Board meeting room, 200 South Sycamore, Grand Island, Nebraska. <br /> CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Chair Ron Peterson <br /> INVOCATION - Karen Bredthauer gave the invocation. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL — Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Kim Dugan and <br /> County Attorney Marty Kleine were also present. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW- Peterson read the notice for a public meeting <br /> subject to the open meetings laws of the State of Nebraska. The requirements for an <br /> open meeting are posted on the door to his left and notices are on the front table for <br /> your information. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —Ron Peterson stated the affidavit of publication was <br /> received. <br /> Chair Peterson stated that the Hall County Board of Commissioners has the discretion <br /> to change the order of the agenda items. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Peterson called for anyone regarding a request <br /> to reserve time on a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA- Sorensen made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes from the March 10, 2026, meeting <br /> 2. 10 Placed on file report from the Nebraska Department of Agriculture regarding <br /> Hall County Weed Program <br /> 3. 12a) Placed on file the report of public tax sales for delinquent 2024 real estate <br /> taxes <br /> 4. 12b) Placed on file the return of public tax sale proceedings <br /> 5. 14 Approved the biweekly pay claims <br /> 6. 15 Approved the early claims <br /> a) FNBO credit card Public Defender $ 429.26 <br /> b) GI Utilities Dept.
