PUBLIC WORKS BID OPENING FOR FALL 2022 ASPHALT <br /> RESURFACING - Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to open the bids for <br /> the fall 2022 Asphalt resurfacing. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and no one voted no. Sorensen was excused from the <br /> meeting. Motion carried. <br /> The following bids were received. <br /> SECTION A SECTION B SECTION C <br /> BIDDER Airport Road 90th Road Hall County Park <br /> Gary Smith Const. $545,116.30 $280,610.00 $324,325.00 <br /> Grand Island <br /> Bid Bond Enclosed <br /> J,I.L. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and no one voted no. Sorensen was excused <br /> from the meeting. Motion carried. <br /> 11.DISCUSS & APPROVE RESOLUTION CALLING GENERAL OBLIGATION <br /> REFUNDING BONDS SERIES 2015, DATE OF ORIGINAL ISSUE SEPTEMBER 30, <br /> 2015 FOR REDEMPTION — It was pointed out that by paying these bonds off early the <br /> county has saved $600,000 in interest. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve Resolution #22-046 to call <br /> the general obligation refunding bonds series 2015 with date of original issue <br /> September 30, 2015. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson <br /> all voted yes and no one voted no. Sorensen was excused from the meeting. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 12. DISCUSS & APPROVE RESOLUTION CALLING GENERAL OBLIGATION <br /> REFUNDING BONDS SERIES 2012 DATE OF ORIGINAL ISSUE JANUARY 10, 2012 <br /> FOR REDEMPTION — Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve <br /> Resolution #22-047 Calling general obligation refunding bonds series 2012 date of <br /> original issue January 10, 2012.
