HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING JULY 19, 2022 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened July 19, 2022 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chair Ron Peterson. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Karen Bredthauer. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pamela <br /> Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also <br /> present were Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen, County Sheriff Richard <br /> Conrad and Board Assistant Kim Dugan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chair Peteson read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Peterson called for anyone who wanted to <br /> reserve time on a specific agenda item and Aaron Brown with Southern Public Power <br /> requested to address #7 the public hearing <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Butch Hurst made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve <br /> the following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the June 5, 2022 meeting <br /> 2. 6a Placed on fil the recommendation from Regional Planning regarding <br /> amendments to zoning resolution <br /> 3. 6b Placed on file recommendation from Regional Planning Director regarding <br /> amendments to zoning resolution <br /> 4. 10 Authorized the chair to sign the interlocal agreement for Central Nebraska <br /> Adult Drug Court Hall County <br /> 5. 11 Approved declaring list of surplus items at the Roads Department <br /> 6. 12 Authorized the public works department to electronically apply for a scrap tire <br /> recycling grant for calendar year 2023 <br /> 7. 13 Authorized the Public Works Department to electronically accept the scrap tire <br /> recycling grant <br /> 8. 16 Placed on file the settlement of the Hall County Treasurer with the Hall County <br /> Board <br /> 9. 17 Placed on file the 2020, 2019 & prior delinquent personal property taxes and <br /> 2021 accelerated 2020 prior delinquent real property taxes <br /> 10. 18 Approved Resolution 22-035 to vacate the plat for Horizon View Subdivision <br /> 11. 19 Approved the bi weekly pay claim <br /> 12.20 Approved the regular claims <br /> 1 <br />
