HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JUNE 7 2022 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened June 7, 2022 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chair Ron Peterson. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Sorensen. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pamela <br /> Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also present were <br /> Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen, County Sheriff Richard Conrad and Board <br /> Assistant Kim Dugan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chair Peterson read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME - Chair Peterson called for anyone who wanted to <br /> reserve time on a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Hurst made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the May 24, 2022 meeting <br /> 2. 4a Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen requested to pull the public <br /> defender contract <br /> 3. 4b Authorized the Chair to sign to modify the memorandum of agreement with <br /> Grand Island Public School for the school intervention program <br /> 4. 7 Received the tort claim from Robert Gould Jr. <br /> 5. 10 Ratified the Board Chairs Decisions <br /> 6. 11 Approved he Board Chair to make decision in Hall County's best interest <br /> between board meeting regarding pandemic & legislative issues <br /> 7. 12 Approved the NIRMA & NIRMA II renewal <br /> 8. 14 Authorized the chair to sign the purchase agreement for motor graders <br /> 9. 17 Approved the special designated liquor licenses for B & D Management for <br /> July 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2022 <br /> 10.22 Approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 11.23 Approved the early claims <br /> A) City of Grand Island Utilities corrections & buildings $31,581.23 <br /> B) Black Hills Energy Road 70.04 <br /> c) Grand Island Utilities Road 654.17 <br /> d) Hall County Convention & Visitor Bureau lodging tax 52,101.64 <br /> 1 <br />
