RESOLUTION #22 - OA 4/ A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO AND READOPTION OF THE HALL COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION AND ZONING MATRIX IN ITS ENTIRETY. WHEREAS, it has been the intent of the Hall County Board of Commissioners to provide for the orderly growth and development of the County; and WHEREAS, in the furtherance of that intent, on April 20, 2004, the Hall County Board of Commissioners did pass and adopt a comprehensive zoning plan by passage of the Hall County Zoning Resolution#04-0020, with an effective date of June 1, 2004; and WHEREAS, on April 6th 2022 the Hall County Regional Planning Commission considered said changes following a public hearing held at its regular meeting and recommended approval; and WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Commissioners wishes to update and amend the zoning regulations; and WHEREAS, the entire Hall County Zoning Resolution and Zoning Matrix with proposed changes is attached in redline format for consideration; and WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Commissioners finds that this updated and readopted resolution will provide clarity for the 2022 Comprehensive Plan Update; and WHEREAS, the County Board of Commissioners of Hall County held a public hearing and considered said proposed changes on April 26th, 2022 upon publication of notice of the same in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper in the county. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, upon review of the proposed changes and consideration of the recommendations of the Regional Planning Commission, and the evidence, testimony, and comments received, the Board finds that the attached changes are consistent with the intent of the Hall County Comprehensive Plan and will serve the County and its residents and that such changes as attached including provisions for renumbering, indexing and pagination are hereby approved and will become effective on May 1, 2022.
