HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING FEBRUARY 1, 2022 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened February 1, 2022 by published call <br /> in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island, NE. <br /> CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Chair Ron Peterson. <br /> INVOCATION - Scott Sorensen gave the invocation <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — The Pledge was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also present were <br /> Board Assistant Kim Dugan and Deputy County Attorney Sarah Christensen and <br /> County Sheriff Conrad. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Peterson read the notice for a public meeting this <br /> meeting subject to the open meetings laws of the State of Nebraska. The requirements <br /> for an open meeting are posted on the door to my left and notices are on the front table <br /> for your information. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —Ron Peterson stated the affidavit of publication was <br /> received. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Peterson called for anyone regarding a request <br /> to reserve time and no one responded <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Hurst made a motion Sorensen second to approve the following <br /> by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the January 18, 2022 meeting <br /> 2. 6b Approved the hourly pay for drug court officers <br /> 3. 7b Approved public works committee to continue to make decision in hall <br /> County's best interest between board meetings regarding public works roads <br /> issues <br /> 4. 7c Approved the NDOT certification of compliance letter for work performed in <br /> 2021 under maintenance agreement number QE 1644 and authorized the Chair <br /> to sign <br /> 5. 7d Approved the change order #1 to the bridge materials contract with Midwest <br /> Sales & Service on bridge project C40(372) <br /> 6. 7g Approved the interim public works director to sign agreements <br /> 7. 8a Set the public hearing for the renewal of conditional use permit for American <br /> Towers for February 15, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. <br /> 8. 8b Authorized the chair to sign the permanent sanitary sewer easement for <br /> Central Nebraska Regional Airport Sewer System <br /> 1 <br />
