Senior Citizens. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 23. Claim for Senior Citizens — Motion by Scott, 2nd by Pam. 6 Yes votes, Bredthauer, <br /> Sorensen, Peterson, Lancaster, Hurst and Richardson. 1 abstain vote — Quandt <br /> 9:05 A.M. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:15 a.m. adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular <br /> meeting. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chair Peterson called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 4. 9:16AM BID OPENING for Civil Process Tracking Software System <br /> Lancaster made a motion Hurst seconded to open the bid for the software. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen. <br /> 7 yes votes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> The following bids were received. <br /> BIDDER TOTAL BID BID BOND ENCLOSED <br /> Permitium (Concord, NC) $950/m $11,400/annually <br /> $250/hour <br /> Volano (Omaha, NE) 1 - $63,630 / post $9,940 <br /> 2 - $24,568/ post $3,848 <br /> The board referred the bids to Sheriff Conrad and Doug Drudik (IT Director) for review <br /> and to bring back a recommendation to the board in 2 weeks at the next board meeting <br /> February 1, 2022 <br /> Peterson pulled 4.B regarding financing for Sheriff's software and asked that it be added <br /> in 2 weeks at the next board meeting February 1, 2022. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Sorensen seconded to go into executive session <br /> for the following. There are 2 reasons for an executive session to protect the <br /> public interest and to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual. <br /> Bredthauer,Hurt, Lancaster, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes <br /> and Quandt was not present. Motion carried. <br /> 5. A COUNTY ATTORNEY - Discussion and Possible action regarding Steve Franssen <br /> Litigation <br /> (Executive Session) <br /> Held executive session from 11:08AM to 11:18AM <br /> Richardson made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of executive session. No <br /> other subjects were discussed no votes were taken and no action was taken. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes. <br /> Quandt was not present. Motion carried. <br />
