RESOLUTION#21- 0 14 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR CERTAIN ELECTED COUNTY OFFICIALS FOR THE FOUR YEAR TERM BEGINNING JANUARY 5, 2023. WHEREAS,the Hall County Board of Commissioners is required by law to set and establish salaries for elected county officials for the four-year term of office commencing on January 5, 2023. WHEREAS, under Resolution #19-238 the County Commissioners annual salary was set for calendar year 2023 and 2024 at $32,130.74 for each year. NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the annual salaries for the following county officials are hereby set as follows: 1. The annual salary for the office of county surveyor, county clerk, clerk of the district court, and treasurer be established at $94,556.19 for the calendar year 2023, at $97,392.88 for the calendar year 2024, at $100,314.67 for the calendar year 2025, and at$102,320.96 for the calendar year 2026. 2. The annual salary for the combined office of county assessor& register of deeds be established at $103,377.50 for the calendar year 2023, at$106,478.83 for the calendar year 2024, at $109,673.19 for the calendar year 2025, and at $111,866.65 for the calendar year 2026. 3. The annual salary for the office of county attorney be established at$134,547.63 for the calendar year 2023, at$138,584.06 for the calendar year 2024, at $142,741.58 for the calendar year 2025, and at $145,596.41 for the calendar year 2026. 4. The annual salary for the office of county commissioner be established at$32,130.74 for the calendar year 2023 and 2024, at $33,094.66 for the calendar year 2025, and at $33,756.55 for the calendar year 2026. 5. The annual salary for the office of county sheriff be established at$121,156.52 for the calendar year 2023, at$124,791.22 for the calendar year 2024, at $128,534.96 for the calendar year 2025, and at $131,105.66 for the calendar year 2026. 6. In addition to the above stated salary the elected official shall receive during his or her term of office employee only or employee and family health, medical and dental benefits pursuant to the terms and conditions of the County's Employee Health Benefit Plan under the same terms and conditions as offered to all non-union county employees. The county reserves the right to change deductible amounts, co-payment amounts, and other terms and conditions of said benefit plan at any time prior to or during the term of office. 7. The aforesaid amounts shall be paid on a biweekly basis or on some other periodic basis as established by the Board of Commissioners.
