Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 4B) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING AIRPORT PROJECT - Deputy <br /> County Attorney Sarah Carstensen sent a draft version of the resolution and reviewed it <br /> with the board. Sarah stated she listed the low bidder in the resolution but did not put in <br /> the dollar value. <br /> Sarah sent a draft version of the values in general the county can use the ARPA funds <br /> to accomplish this. She showed a copy of the resolution and noted that the low bidder <br /> was listed but the dollar amount was taken out because they anticipate there will <br /> change orders for the project. <br /> Lancaster stated this is a tremendous opportunity to be able to do this Sarah showed <br /> the changes addressing the awarded bidder. <br /> Lancaster called for questions from the board members and no one responded. <br /> City Administrator Jerry Janulewicz and John Collins were present. Mr. Janulewicz <br /> stated he appreciated that the county was willing to participate in this project to get a <br /> functional system at the Airport. This will go before the City council tonight and the City <br /> will award the bid. He noted that they have had several meetings and it has worked out <br /> well. <br /> Peterson made a motion and Sorensen seconded to approve Resolution # 21-039 <br /> granting concurrence and consent of Hall County to the City of Grand Island to proceed <br /> with accepting bids and entering into a contract to improve the sewer system connecting <br /> to the Central Nebraska Regional Airport. The bid received was $6,130,000.00. They <br /> will start once the bid is awarded. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen stated that the board needs to designate a <br /> point of contact so the communications will flow well for this project. The ARPA funds <br /> are managed by Doone Humphrey and discussion was held to appoint him. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to appoint Doone Humphrey as the <br /> point person for the Airport sewer project. They will start once the id is awarded. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 4 <br />
