Page 13 <br /> We Will develop a year-round experience: This has begun. A new culinary director has been hired to <br /> begin activating the year-round dining experience. Mr. Deitemeyer asked about the dinner programing <br /> in the Milisen House. Mr. Hochstetler and Mrs. Hunt explained there is heating issues in the homes so <br /> need to investigate this issue to get the dinner programing running again. <br /> We Will create educational experiences for adults: Adult education has been activated in the past year <br /> by having tour groups in attendance, onsite programs, and virtual programming to AARP. The museum <br /> has programming in the works for the coming year. Mr. Allen suggested doing adult cooking classes. <br /> We Will seek public feedback and welcome criticism and ideas; Mr. Hochstetler stated that one area we <br /> have yet to approach is getting feedback from the public. He discussed that Ms. Buettner is working on <br /> getting surveys out to the public. <br /> We e Will make strides to become more inclusive; The museum is working on digital opportunities for <br /> self-guided tours in different languages. The museum is working with the Multicultural Coalition for <br /> some programing. <br /> FOUNDATION REPORT <br /> Mrs. Cook thanked everyone for their support for the Farm to Table Event. The Foundation Events <br /> Committee will review the event for future opportunities. <br /> Mrs. Smith briefly reviewed her submitted report. She invited the board to the Bartenbach Donor <br /> Engagement Event on October 22"d <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mr. Hochstetler referred board to his written report. He discussed how the museum is in a managed <br /> growth period and wants the board to look at this growth when they are in strategic planning. <br /> Mr. Hochstetler called up Ms. Buettner to speak about the Stuhr Logo and graphic standards in <br /> preparation for the strategic planning. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Ms. Nolan Brown adjourned meeting at 4 p.m. <br /> Next meeting, fourth Tuesday, October 26`", 2021, at 3 p.m. —Finance Committee at 2:15 p.m. <br /> Respectfully recorded by Jennifer Sims, Events, Volunteer, and Membership Manager and recorder. <br />
