HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING OCTOBER 26, 2021 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened October 26, 2021 by published call <br /> in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island, NE. <br /> CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Pam Lancaster <br /> INVOCATION - Pam Lancaster gave the invocation <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also present were <br /> Kim Dugan and Deputy County Attorney Sarah Christensen. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Lancaster read the notice for a public meeting <br /> subject to the open meetings laws of the State of Nebraska. The requirements for an open <br /> meeting are posted on the door to my left and notices are on the front table for your <br /> information. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —the affidavit of publication was received. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Lancaster called for anyone regarding a <br /> request to reserve time and no one responded. <br /> Consent agenda — Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes from the October 12, 2021 meeting <br /> 2. 6a Placed on file the Road Department quarterly report July to September <br /> 3. 9 Approved the final plat and Resolution #21-041 for Sunset Acres Subdivision <br /> 4. 11 Approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 5. 12 Approved the regular claims except for Senior Citizens and Midland Area <br /> Agency on Aging <br /> 6. 13 Placed on file the county office report from the County Clerk <br /> 7. 14 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 8. 15 Placed on file communications letter from Attorney General regarding opioid <br /> litigation settlements <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> Peterson made a motion and Sorensen seconded to approve the Claims from Midland <br /> Area Agency on Aging and Senior Citizens. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and none voted no. Quandt abstained. Motion <br /> carried <br /> 1 <br />
