FACILITIES UPDATE — Mr. Humphrey stated that they ae doing some testing on the <br /> fire suppression system and they wanted to do the testing when people are there they <br /> would find the leaks if there are any. The issue with the window that was leaking seems <br /> to be taken care of but they are holding back on the payment. They have not been able <br /> to do an inspection yet. They are still working on the IT equipment room. He also noted <br /> that there is a small room in the front of the Annex building that can be used for various <br /> functions like the health screening and it will be used more and more. <br /> Lancaster noted that his department did a fabulous job on the renovations. She also <br /> thanked Alaina Verplank for working on the ARPA funds they worked through the issues <br /> and there was a lot of paperwork and permissions. <br /> 7. 9:50 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING O'NEILL TRANSPORTATION & EQUIPMENT <br /> COMPOSTING FACILITY FOR RENEWAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> Quandt made a motion and Sorensen seconded to open the public hearing. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated this is for the composting operation for O'Neill Transportation and <br /> Equipment. They comply will all of the regulations and are doing a great job. They <br /> provide a variety of materials. There have been no complaints and are going a nice job <br /> and it is well organized. He would recommend to approve this conditional use renewal. <br /> Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Sorensen seconded to close the public hearing. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7b APPROVE RESOLUTION #21-033 — Quandt made a motion and Sorensen <br /> seconded to approve Resolution #21-033 for O'Neill Transportation and Equipment LLC <br /> for manufacture end use wood products and to operate a composting facility. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7 <br />
