HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING AUGUST 17, 2021 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened August 17, 2021 by published call <br /> in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island NE. <br /> CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Pam Lancaster <br /> INVOCATION - Butch Hurst gave the invocation <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also present were <br /> Kim Dugan and Deputy County Attorney Sarah Christensen. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW - This is a public meeting subject to the open <br /> meetings laws of the State of Nebraska. The requirements for an open meeting are posted <br /> on the door to my left and notices are on the front table for your information. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —the affidavit of publication was received. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Lancaster called for anyone regarding a <br /> request to reserve time and no one responded. <br /> Consent agenda — Peterson made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the August 3, 20201 meeting <br /> 2. 6 a Approved Resolution #21-027 for signing of the County Annual Certification <br /> of Program Compliance for 2021 <br /> 3. 6 b Authorized chair to sign annual Certification of Program Compliance to <br /> Nebraska Board of Public Roads Classifications & Standards for 2021 <br /> 4. 6c Approval of 1 & 6 Year Road Program <br /> 5. 6 d Approved the application for the scrap tire recycling grant including and <br /> approved to electronically accept the grant and other paperwork if awarded <br /> 6. 9 Ratified the renewal of the Justice Assistance Grand (JAG for 10/1/2021 to <br /> 9/30/2024 <br /> 7. 10 Placed on file the settlement of the Hall County Treasurer with the Hall County <br /> Board as per Section 77-1745 RRS of Nebraska <br /> 8. 12 Approved the special designated liquor licenses for B & D Sport Bar & Grill for <br /> wedding receptions for September 4, 18 and 25 <br /> 9. 12b Approved the special designated liquor license for Nebraska Craft Brewers <br /> Association for September 14,15 and 16th <br /> 10. 13 Approved the final plat and Resolution #21-028 for Holtz 2"d Subdivision <br /> 11. 13 b Approved the final plat and Resolution #21-029 for Gehle 2nd Subdivision <br /> 1 <br />
