They are trying to finish up the egresses but re waiting for some break metal <br /> to finish the doors. They hope to get it painted this week. He does not have a report <br /> from the welding inspector yet an inspection was done He does have some question on <br /> some welds before they start painting want sot make sure they are ok home to be <br /> finished in 2 weeks. <br /> BID OPENING he talked to both companies that bid to find the explanation on the large <br /> difference on the amount of the bids. Duff was contracting some things out so did not <br /> think they were out of line he talked to Mike Leamon and he can comply and he looked <br /> and measured the roof and is comfortable with his bid. Lancaster the dollar per hour <br /> and Leamon does good work. <br /> Sorensen ask about the completion date and Mike is comfortable with the completion <br /> time and the warranty <br /> Sorensen motion and Bredthauer seconded to award the bid to Leamon Roofing for <br /> $42,115.00. This is good news. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Richardson <br /> and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Quandt was absent. Motion carried. <br /> 15. EXECUTIVE SESSION UNION NEGOTIATIONS - Richardson made a motion and <br /> Bredthauer seconded to go into executive session regarding the union negotiations. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no <br /> one voted no. Quandt was absent. Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster state there are two reasons for an executive session to protect the public <br /> interest and to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual. <br /> 11:13 a.m. executive session <br /> 12:10 p.m. Peterson made a motion and Sorensen seconded to go out of executive <br /> session. <br /> Lancaster stated that no other subjects were discussed, no votes were taken and no <br /> action was taken. The Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen, Todd Bahensky and <br /> Sheriff Conrad were in the executive session.
