Bredthauer, Hurst, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson ad Sorensen all voted yes <br /> and no one voted no. , Lancaster was absent for the vote. Motion carried <br /> Todd stated he will review the bids and come back with a recommendation <br /> 510:00 A.M. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON HEALTH INSURANCE <br /> PROGRAMS — Matt Wullenwaber was present. <br /> 5a) Insurance Committee recommends approving Magellan Select Savings Program. <br /> Tt stated that most pharmaceutical companies use one organization to process <br /> specialty claims for prescriptions. He noted that there are 650 members on the county <br /> plan and 8 members are using specialty medications that result in 50% of the total <br /> pharmacy cost. There are alternative funding programs to assist people for the drugs <br /> this will help capture those dollars to offset the costs. It could result in $230,000 in <br /> savings. Frequently there are no out of pocket cost for the participant. They make sure <br /> that the patients gets the medications. He said it work well and they have had good <br /> experience with this program. <br /> Peterson made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the Magellan Select <br /> Savings Program. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson ad <br /> Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried <br /> 5Blnsurance Committee recommends approving Connection Dental Program <br /> This will be added to the group dental plan. It is a passive PPO network that will allow <br /> discounts from dentists that are in the network. 26% of the dentist that are currently <br /> being used are in the network. The only change will be an additional logo on the cards. <br /> They will issue new insurance cards for the employees. <br /> Peterson noted that this will extend the dollars that individual will have for dental <br /> coverage. <br /> Peterson made a motion and Bredthauer second to approve the Connection Dental <br /> Program. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson ad Sorensen all <br /> voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried <br /> 5Clnsurance Committee recommends continuing TelaDoc Program Matt stated that the <br /> employee's ae using this and thee is a savings by using TelaDoc instead of a regular <br /> office visit. The administration fee I $3,700.00. <br /> Peterson made a motion and Bredthauer second to continue the TelaDoc Program. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson ad Sorensen all voted yes <br /> and no one voted no. Motion carried <br /> 7 <br />
