HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING MARCH 30, 2021 The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened March 16, 2021 by published call in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island NE. CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Pam Lancaster INVOCATION - L\Pam gave the invocation PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge was given in unison. ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also present were Kim Dugan and Deputy County Attorney Sarah Christensen. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW - This is a public meeting subject to the open meetings laws of the State of Nebraska. The requirements for an open meeting are posted on the door to my left and notices are on the front table for your information. AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —the affidavit of publication was received. REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Lancaster called for anyone regarding a request to reserve time and no one responded. CONSENT AGENDA— Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following by consent agenda. 1. Placed on file the minutes of the March 16,2021 meeting 2. 7A & 7b 5311 funding Mr. McFarland will be attending to be addressed later 3. 15 Approved the appointment of Mike Ponte, Glenn Palensky and Ron Hitch to the Veterans Service Committee 4. 16 Approved the special designated liquor license for B & D Management for May 8, 2021 and May 20 2021 5. 18 Approved the bi weekly pay claims 6. Placed on file the office report Stuhr Museum meeting minutes and Public Defender case totals 7. 20 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts 8. 21 Communications none on file Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and none voted no Motion carried. 1
