HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING JANUARY 19 2021 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened January 19, 2021 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island NE. <br /> CALL TO ORDER-The meeting was called to order by Pam Lancaster <br /> INVOCATION - Steve Johnson gave the invocation <br /> Lancaster noted that Article 6 of the Constitution state that all board member should take the <br /> Oath of Office. She read the Oath of office. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL- Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Gary <br /> Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also present were Kim Dugan <br /> and Deputy County Attorney Sarah Christensen. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICTION —the affidavit of publication was received. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME —Chair Lancaster called for anyone regarding a request to <br /> reserve time and Johanna Niedfelt requested to address item 7 regarding the farm lease. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Peterson made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the January 5, 2021 meeting <br /> 2. 11 Approved and authorized the Chair to sign the letter of engagement with Lutz for the <br /> special audit for the Clerk of the District Court <br /> 3. 12 Placed on file the settlement of the Hall County Treasurer with the Hall County Board <br /> 4. 13 Approved the special designated liquor license for Curl Curl LLC for Prairie Creek <br /> Barn wedding reception February 20, 2021 <br /> 5. 14 Placed on file the quarterly report of household library cards <br /> 6. 16 Approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 7. 17 Approved the regular claims <br /> 8. 18 Placed on file the office reports and minutes from the Weed Board minutes for <br /> January, Building Inspector year to date report, Public Defender case totals for <br /> December Hall County Livestock report, County Clerk, Hall & Howard County Juvenile <br /> Services, County sheriff, assessor/ Register of Deeds <br /> 9. 19 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 10. 20 Placed on file communications <br /> Item #6 regarding the Nebraska Veterans Treatment Court will be addressed in 2 weeks. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and <br /> none voted no.
