HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING August 18, 2020 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened January 7, 2020 by published call in the County <br /> Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chair Pam Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION was given by Pam Lancaster. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Dick Hartman, Butch Hurst, Pamela <br /> Lancaster, Ron Peterson, Gary Quandt., and Jane Richardson. Also present was Board <br /> Assistant Kim Duncan, County Attorney Marty Klein and Deputy County Attorney Sarah <br /> Carstensen. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chair Lancaster read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following <br /> by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes from the August 4, 2020 meeting <br /> 2. 12 Placed on file the Keno audit report for June 30, 2020 and 2019 <br /> 3. 14 Approved the Resolution #20-136 to #20-152 for pledged collateral for Five Points <br /> Bank <br /> 4. 15 A Approved the special designated liquor license for B&D management (dba the <br /> Bunkhouse) for 9/19/202 at Prairie Creek Barn <br /> 15 B Approved the special designated liquor license for B&D management (dba the <br /> Bunkhouse) for 9/26/2020 at Prairie Creek Barn <br /> 15 C Approved the special designated liquor license for B&D management (dba the <br /> Bunkhouse) for 10/03/2020 at Prairie Creek Barn <br /> 5. 16 A Approved Resolution #20-154 amending the Schedule of fees for zoning & <br /> subdivision transactions <br /> 6. 16b Approved the final plat and Resolution #20-155 for A & N Shriner-Krohn Subdivision <br /> 7. 19 Approved the biweekly pay claims <br /> 8. 21 Placed on file the office reports from the Public Defender and the Weed Board <br /> meeting minutes <br /> 9. 22 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts. <br /> 10. 23 Communications there were no communications <br /> 11. 11 Approved Resolution #20-153 approving a new Keno Sales outlet location for Full <br /> Circle Venue LLC da Infinity Lounge Richardson stated this could be consent agenda <br /> also. Peterson and Quandt agreed. <br /> Chad Nabity was present and stated that the resolution amending the zoning and subdivision <br /> actions was reviewed and the costs of the public hearings have increased so they are proposing <br /> an increase of$50.00 so it would $900.00 instead of$850.00. He explained that these are <br /> permits outside of the city of Grand Island. The County receives these fees it is best to keep the <br /> county costs the same as the City of Grand they try to address the fees each year. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no.
