Quandt made a motion ad Bredthauer seconded to approve the quote for the cameras at <br /> $3,170.19. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11 B) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING PURCHASE OF <br /> REPLACEMENT/ADDITIONAL LAPTOPS FOR REMOTE ACCESS Lancaster noted <br /> that they used older laptops when it was necessary to provide them when employees <br /> had to work remotely and they are trying to fil the requests. She stated that Loran would <br /> like some justifications for the COVID grant. He used 10 year older laptops and users <br /> have been using them from home and he is looking at replacing those with current <br /> laptops and additional requests that he could not fill. He has a quote from Dell and it <br /> would be a COVID 19 expense and a request for reimbursement. The total is <br /> $110,298.00 this represents 10% end of quarter savings before the schools start <br /> purchasing theirs in August. <br /> Hartman expressed concern that this is a lot of money these are new laptops. Doug <br /> stated IT costs a lot. Doug stated that hopefully this can be approved as a COVID <br /> expense. <br /> Richardson ask where the cameras would be installed and Doug stated 6 at the <br /> Administration Building and 3 at the Federal Building and one computer to be mounted <br /> on the wall in the treasurer's office. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Peterson seconded to approve the purchase of the <br /> laptops with the 10% discount. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Quandt stated that this should help the sheriff see some savings because of the added <br /> security. <br /> 25 DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION FOR KENO GRANT REQUEST FROM NULL <br /> FONNER PARK STATE 4-H HORSE EXPOSITION FOR 2020 2021 BUDGET <br /> Discussion was held on a letter that the board received from UNL Fonner Park <br /> requesting some funding from a keno grant to help with the awards and trophies and <br /> ribbons. <br /> Hartman expressed concern next it will be for the hogs, cattle, and sheep and dairy <br /> cattle for money. He stated we need to fix the roads. <br /> Hurst and Richardson also stated when will it stop? <br /> Discussion was held if there needed to be any action and Lancaster stated this could be <br /> from CVB or lodging tax dollars. She will forward this to them. <br /> 26. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO RATIFY DOUBLE LOCK SECURITY FOR <br /> ONE ADDITIONAL WEEK Lancaster stated she talked to Alaina and she was <br /> concerned that she would not have staff to cover this so they are asking to ratify using <br /> 10 <br />
