<br /> PART 1 GENERAL
<br /> 1.01 PROPOSALS WILL BE RECEIVED UNTIL 5:00 P.M., MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2020 IN THE
<br /> OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK, 121 SOUTH PINE ST, GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA.
<br /> BIDS WILL BE OPENED MARCH 31, 2020 AT 9:45 AM IN THE BOARD ROOM DURING THE
<br /> REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.
<br /> A. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020
<br /> B. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above date and time, or shortly
<br /> thereafter.
<br /> C. Proposals will be received for a single general contract for the Work. Low bid will be based on
<br /> base bid accepted by the Owner plus alternates accepted by the Owner. Substitutions will not
<br /> be used to determine the low bidder. Faxed bids will not be acceptable.
<br /> D. Drawings and specifications will be distributed from the following location:

<br /> E. BID DOCUMENTS SHALL BE RETURNED TO THE ARCHITECT:

<br /> J. ANYTHING HEREIN TO THE CONTRARY NOTWITHSTANDING, THE OWNER IS NOT
<br /> BOUND TO ACCEPT THE LOW PROPOSAL; THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
<br /> REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS, AND THE OWNER RESERVES THE ABSOLUTE
<br /> RIGHT TO SELECT THE FIRM OR TEAM WHICH IS, IN THE OWNER'S SOLE DISCRETION,
