RESOLUTION # 19- A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SALARY FOR PUBLIC DEFENDER FOR THE FOUR YEAR TERM BEGINNING JANUARY 7, 2021 WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors is required by law to set and establish salaries for elected county officials for the four-year term of office commencing on January 7, 2021; WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors decided to raise the salary 1.5% per year for the four-year term of the office of the Public Defender; NOW, BE IT RESOLVED that the annual salary for the office of Hall County Public Defender for the four-year term commencing January 7, 2021 be set as follows: For the calendar year 2021 $ 106,352.85 For the calendar year 2022 $ 107,948.14 For the calendar year 2023 $ 109,567.36 For the calendar year 2024 through the end of term $ 111,210.87 The aforesaid amounts shall be paid on a bi-weekly basis or on such other periodic basis as established by the Board of Supervisors. In addition to the salary as set forth above, the Hall County Public Defender shall receive during the term of office employee only or employee and family health, medical and dental benefits pursuant to the terms and conditions of the county's Employee Health Benefit Plan under the same terms and conditions as offered to all county employees. The county reserves the right to change deductible amounts, co-payment amounts and other terms and conditions of said benefit plan at any time prior to or during the term of office.
