HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING AUGUST 20, 2019 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened August 20, 2019 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chair Pam Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Ron Peterson <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Dick Hartman, Butch Hurst, Pamela <br /> Lancaster, Ron Peterson Gary Quandt and Jane Richardson also present were Deputy County <br /> Attorney Sarah Carstensen, County attorney Marty Klein and Board Assistant Kim Dugan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chair Lancaster read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Lancaster stated that if anyone from the audience has a <br /> request to reserve time to come forward at this time. Lana Lanz with Family Resources <br /> requested to address item #16 and Larry Carlson, Bassett, Nebraska, requested to speak under <br /> public participation regarding District Court disbursement payments. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Bredthauer made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. Quandt requested to pull item 15a regarding the resolution for the <br /> foreclosure of county tax sales <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the August 6, 2019 meeting <br /> 2. 12 e Set the public hearing for a new conditional use permit for an 80 ft. internet tower <br /> for Rise Broadband for September 17, 2019 t 9:30 a.m. <br /> 3. 15 b placed on file the report of the 2016 2017 and 2018 accelerated & 2017 Prior <br /> delinquent real property taxes & report on certificate of tax sales <br /> 4. 15c Approve the resolution #19-128 through #19-146 for pledged collateral for Five <br /> Points Bank <br /> 5. 17 Regional Planning approved the final plat and Resolution #19-147 for Darlings <br /> Landing Subdivision <br /> 6. 20 Placed on file the office reports from the Assessor/Register of Deeds, Public <br /> Defender and County Sheriff for June 2019 and the County Sheriff quarterly report <br /> 7. 21 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 8. 22 Placed on file communications from Central Platte Community Wildfire Protection <br /> Plan, Regional Planning and NACO open meeting act. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9:05 A.M. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:16 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 1 <br />
