HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JUNE 11, 2019 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened June 11, 2019 by published call in the County <br /> Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chair Pam Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Ron Peterson. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Dick Hartman, Butch Hurst, Pamela <br /> Lancaster, Ron Peterson Gary Quandt and Jane Richardson also present were Deputy <br /> County Attorney Sarah Carstensen. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chair Lancaster read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Lancaster stated that if anyone from the audience has a <br /> request to reserve time to come forwards and Mr. Baldwin requested to address the board <br /> regarding an update on the asphalt projects. <br /> Mike Ponte, from the Grand Island Veterans Club, 216 West 18th, requested to address the <br /> board. He stated that he worked on the Veterans Wall that was here during Memorial Day <br /> weekend and wanted to thank Hall County Sheriff Rick Conrad for his assistance bringing the <br /> wall into Grand Island. There were 450 volunteers to man the location 24 hours a day. He read <br /> a letter from the committee and presented Sheriff Conrad with a certificate of appreciation. Mr. <br /> Ponte stated that are expressing appreciation to the Sheriff, State Patrol and the City police <br /> department. The weather was beautiful. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Bredthauer made a motion and Quandt seconded o approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the May 30, 2019 meeting <br /> 2. 18 Placed on file the Hall County Keno Financial statement for quarter ending March 31, <br /> 2019 <br /> 3. 19 approved the appointment of Jesse Parker to the Hall County Housing Authority <br /> Board <br /> 4. 23 Approved Resolutions for pledged collateral for Five Points Bank <br /> a. Resolution #19-075 UNIV OF NEBR CUSIP #9146416B6 FOR $550,024.10 <br /> b. Resolution #19-076 FIVE POINTS BANK FOR CUSIP #3138ETNJ1 for <br /> c. $ 431,573.86 <br /> d. Resolution #19-077 NEBR ST COL CUSIP #639684EP0 FOR $521,389.35 <br /> e. Resolution #19-078 FIVE POINTS BANK FOR CUSIP #313 7SD34 for <br /> $1,848,520.07 <br /> f.
