December 5, 2018 <br /> TO: Hall County Park/Facilities Committee <br /> Subject: Annual Report of the Hall County Parks Department <br /> The Hall County Park Camping areas for the period of April 17, 2018 <br /> through October 14, 2018 which consisted of 184 possible nights of <br /> camping, had a total of 5209 people registered for 2183 units resulting in <br /> an income of$43290.00 ($39230.36 into the General Fund $219.00 for <br /> Sales Tax and $1950.64 into the Lodging Fund). <br /> There was an average of 11.87 camping units (this includes recreational <br /> vehicles and tents) per night with an average of 2.28 guests staying in each <br /> unit. <br /> Compared to 2017 camping was down 68 RV units and 40 Tent units, for a <br /> total increase in income of$1960.00. <br /> This was the ninth year to reserve Picnic Shelters. Revenue from shelter is <br /> $1925.00 into the General Fund from April 2018 through October 2018. Up <br /> $225.00 from 2017.. We currently have 3 Picnic Shelters scheduled for <br /> 2019 and 2 Weddings planned. <br /> This was the third year for paid showers in the camping area contributing <br /> $708.50 to the General Fund in 2018 down $549.25 from 2017. Dump fees <br /> for 2018 totaled $210.00 up $130.00 from 2017. <br /> We were busy again this past season with numerous church, civic, and <br /> school groups, company picnics, family reunions and Weddings. <br />
