HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING DECEMBER 19, 2017 9: 05 a.m. Lanfear made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to go into a Board of Equalization meeting. ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, Pamela Lancaster, Douglas Lanfear, Gary Quandt, and Steve Schuppan. Jane Richardson was absent. Also present was County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open meeting law. VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION — The affidavit of publication was received. MINUTES — Lanfear made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve the minutes of the December 12, 2017 meeting. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. Motion carried. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. 3. COUNTY TREASURER — DISCUSS AND APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATIONS — County Treasurer Peg Pesek presented the exemption application from Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska for a 2017 Chevrolet Sedan to be use for picking up and taking home clients and also used for support of clients activities and training. She has approved this exemption application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is requesting the County Board to approve. Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the exemption application from Goodwill Industries for the 2017 Chevrolet sedan. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. Motion carried. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished business and no one responded.
