HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JUNE 27, 2017 9:05 a.m. Lanfear made a motion and Arnold seconded to go into a Board of Equalization meeting. ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, Pamela Lancaster, Douglas Lanfear, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. Also present were County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and County Assessor Jan Pelland. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open meeting law. VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —The affidavit of publication was received. MINUTES — Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the minutes of the June 13, 2017 meeting. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. COUNTY ASSESSOR - TAX CORRECTION NOTICES # 5210 TO #5220 — County Assessor Jan Pelland was presented tax correction notices #5210 to #5220 requesting a motion to receive and authorize the Chair to initial. Quandt made a motion and Lanfear seconded to receive and authorize the Chair to initial tax correction notices #5210 to #5220. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. PLACE ON FILE PROTEST # 1 TO #147 — Quandt made a motion and Arnold seconded to place on file property valuation protests 1 to 147. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
