HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING DECEMBER 13, 2016 Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into a Board of Equalization meeting. ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Dan Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. CALL TO ORDER — Chairman Arnold called the meeting of the Hall County Board of Equalization to order. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting law. VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION — Affidavit on file. MINUTES - Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to place on file the minutes of the November 29, 2016 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one responded. 3 COUNTY TREASURER — DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR THE SALVATION ARMY - County Treasurer Peg Pesek was present and presented the exemption application from The Salvation Army, 818 West Third Street, Grand Island, for a 2016 Honda wagon to be used for church pickup and community events and Christmas events. She has approved this exemption application as per 77-202 and is asking for a motion form the County Board to approve. Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the exemption application from the Salvation Army. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. County Assessor Peg Pesek informed he board that she called Cathedral Daycare regarding the registration of their bus and informed them that it will be registered. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chairman Arnold called for new or unfinished business and no one responded. Meeting adjourned at 9:17 a.m. returned to the regular meeting. Marla VI/Q/4-a o Count Jerk
