HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JULY 12, 2016 <br /> 9:10 A.M. Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Dan <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> CALL TO ORDER — Chairman Arnold called the Board of Equalization meeting to order. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - Affidavit of publication of publication for the <br /> meeting on file. <br /> MINUTES — Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to place on file the <br /> minutes of the June 28, 2016 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 3 COUNTY TREASURER —APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR ORPHAN <br /> GRAIN TRAIN FOR A 2006 HAULMARK UTILITY TRAILER - County Treasurer Peg <br /> Pesek received the exemption application for Orphan Grain Train, 427 N Shady Bend <br /> Road, Grand Island, NE for a 2006 Haulmark Utility trailer to be used for fund raising <br /> activities and collecting clothing and medical supplies in central Nebraska. <br /> 4. DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR MID PLAINS CENTER <br /> FOR BEHAVIORAL SERVICE FOR A 2016 DODGE BRAUN VAN This is for Mid Plains <br /> Center for Behavioral Services, 615 N. Elm, Grand Island, NE for a 2016 Dodge Braun <br /> Sport Van to be used to pick up clients and transport them to the Crisis Stabilization <br /> Unit, to take clients from the Crisis Stabilization Unit to the next level of care and to pick <br /> up clients in Adams County and transport them to services needed. She has approved <br /> the exemption applications as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is asking for a <br /> motion from the board to approve them. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the exemption application <br /> for Orphan Grain Train and for Mid Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Service. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
